Yuuka Miyazono

Button Designer/Maker

1985年 東京都生まれ。
2008年 女子美術大学ファッション造形学科修了。衣服造形家・眞田岳彦氏に師事。服飾資材商社 商品開発課入社。
2009年 眞田塾在籍(6期生)
2012年 女子美ミラノ賞を受賞しミラノに1年間滞在。Migliore+Servetto事務所での研修を修了。
2018年 独立。

日々の生活、歴史や文化からの学びや気づきをボタンに落とし込み、デザインとアートの境界線に位置する「ボタンのブランド」を通して作品表現を行う。
アパレルブランドへのボタンのOEM、ボタンを作成するワークショップなども開催している。

1985 – Born in Tokyo.
2008 – Graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design, Department of Fashion Design. Studied under Mr.Takehiko Sanada, a clothes designer. Started working at a clothing supplying company in the product development division.
2009 – Sanada Seminar (6th generation).
2012 – Received the Joshibi Milan Award and stayed in Milan for one year. Finished the internship program at Migliore+Servetto Architects.
2018 – Started working independently as a freelancer.

Yuuka’s unique work takes learning and noticing things from everyday life, history, and culture, and transforms it into buttons. She expresses herself through the “button brand” which is located on the boundary between design and art. She also works for button manufacturers and apparel brands, and also runs workshops on the creation of buttons, and other things.

1985 – Nasce a Tokyo.
2008 – Diploma presso Joshibi University of Art and Design, Dipartimento di Fashion Design. Studia sotto la guida di Mr. Takehiko Sanada (stilista).
Nello stesso anno entra in una società di fornitura di abbigliamento e sviluppo del prodotto.
2009 – Appartenuto a Sanada Seminer (sesta generazione).
2012 – Riceve il premio “Joshibi Milan” e soggiorna a Milano per un anno. Dove compie un tirocinio presso Migliore + Servetto Architects.
2018 – Inizia a lavorare in modo indipendente come libera professionista.

Imparare e notare le cose dalla vita quotidiana, dalla storia e dalla cultura e trasformarle in bottoni. Esprimersi attraverso i “bottoni” vuol dire trovarsi al confine tra design e arte.
Lavora anche per OEM di bottoni e per marchi di abbigliamento, si occupa anche di workshop per creare pulsanti e così via.
